Hill Country, Huh? Boerne is a small Texas town feeling the effects of proximity to San Antonio. Located in the idyllic Hill Country, it has clear streams, majestic oaks and historic limestone buildings. It also has a Wal-Mart, a Home Depot, a Burger King, Wendy's, Chili's, Whataburger, Taco Cabana, Dairy Queen, Church's Fried Chicken, McDonalds and (I am not making this up) eleven Mexican food joints.
